Suzie Stephensen is from Leavenworth, Kansas and received her Bachelor's in Music Performance at Brigham Young University. When she isn't busy wrangling her two energetic children (5 and 1), she teaches lessons to 21 piano and voice students ranging from elementary school to retirement age. Suzie's first taste of theater magic was at the age of 13, when she participated in the River City Community Players' production of "Jesus Christ Superstar." Since then she has participated in many RCCP, high school and Shocking Productions, as well as operas at the University of Kansas and BYU. Her favorite roles have included Cinderella in "Cinderella," Grace in "Annie," Dorothy in "The Wizard of Oz" and Mabel in "The Pirates of Penzance." Suzie also spent three years teaching English in Takamatsu, Japan, and performed two international concerts while living there. Suzie now enjoys being a part of Joshua Shockey's youth productions as music director, and accompanying her church choir.
